Directions To Fort Ligonier

Fort Ligonier is located in Pennsylvania’s Laurel Highlands Region, approximately 50 miles east of Pittsburgh, at the intersection of Routes 711 N and 30 W in Ligonier.

From Washington DC:

Follow I-270 North to I-70 West to Breezewood. Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76 West) to Exit 91 Donegal. Upon exiting Pennsylvania Turnpike, turn left on Route 31 for 1/4 mile. Turn left on Route 711 North for 12 miles. Travel straight through the intersection of Routes 711 and 30 (traffic light) and make a right turn into the Fort Ligonier parking lot.

From Cleveland/Pittsburgh:

Follow the Pennsylvania Turnpike East to Exit 67 Irwin/North Huntingdon. Follow Route 30 East to Ligonier (approximately 27 miles). Turn left at the traffic light at the intersection of Routes 711 and 30 and make a right turn into the Fort Ligonier parking lot.

From Bedford:

Follow Route 30 West for approximately 50 miles. Turn right at the traffic light at the intersection of Routes 711 and 30 and make a right turn into the Fort Ligonier parking lot.

From Johnstown:

Follow Route 271 South to Route 711 South. Travel 1/2-way around the Ligonier Diamond (Bandstand) onto South Market Street. Turn left into the Fort Ligonier parking lot (prior to the traffic light at the intersection of Routes 711 and 30).
