FORT LIGONIER DAYS
Living history activities commemorate the historic Battle of Fort Ligonier. Artillery Demonstrations at 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM followed by Battle Reenactments at 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
Drawn from the Fort Ligonier permanent collection is a world-class exhibition telling the story of the decisive 18th century Seven Years' War, known as the French and Indian War in America.
The unique George Washington collection at Fort Ligonier features his original saddle pistols, his 11-page "Remarks" on the French and Indian War and a Rembrandt Peale portrait.
General John Forbes gave his name in 1758 to a challenging British military expedition and to a remarkable new road he opened. Follow the Forbes Trail through Pennsylvania history.
