Saturday, APRIL 12 Scout Day – boy scouts and girl scouts are welcome to participate in special programs to meet requirements of certain badges. Pre-registration required.
Tues., APRIL 22 & Wed., APRIL 30 Home School Days. Special educational programs for home school students and families. Advance registration required.
Saturday-Sunday, MAY 3-4 Encampment, drills, and musket firing demonstrations.
Sunday, MAY 4 Free Museum Day in the Ligonier Valley
Colonial Culture, Customs and Craftsmen – Meet British Officers, see blacksmithing and field oven demonstrations. FREE ADMISSION at Fort Ligonier as well as Compass Inn, Antiochian Heritage Museum, Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art in the Ligonier Valley, Lincoln Highway Experience and Ligonier Valley Rail Road Museum.
Saturday, MAY 24 “Merit Badge Day” – 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Boy Scouts (individuals or troops) complete the requirements to receive their Indian Lore Merit Badge. Pre-registration required.

Saturday-Sun., MAY 24-25 Detachment of the 8th PA Regiment in Garrison

Encampment, drills and musket firing demonstrations.

Saturday-Sunday, JUNE 7-8 Garrison Weekend – French Forces in America: American War of Independence. French units will present various living history activities including drills and military tactics.
Friday JUNE 13 A Taste of History – 5:30 – 7:30 PM
A casual evenings with friends at the Fort! Enjoy bread-baking demonstrations with Ed Tutino, great music and refreshments. $8.00/members of the Fort Ligonier Association; $10.00/non-members
Mon. – Fri., JUNE 16-20 Fort Kids Camp I – 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM – Day camp for kids who have completed grades 1-6. Pre-registration required.
Mon. Fri., JULY 14-18 Fort Kids Camp II – 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM – Day camp for kids who have completed grades 1-6. Pre-registration required.
Sunday, AUGUST 3 Plymouth Fife & Drum Corps performing at 3:00 PM.
An internationally renowned Fife & Drum Corps of students ages 12-18 from the Plymouth, Michigan, area will perform on the grounds of historic Fort Ligonier.
Sat. – Sun., AUGUST 9-10 Brigade of the American Revolution
18th century living history demonstrations, encampment and tactical exercises throughout the weekend.

Food, fun, auctions and more! Proceeds benefit Fort Ligonier’s operations and educational programs. Advance tickets required. Call for sponsorship information.

SATURDAY & SUNDAY – Artillery Demonstrations at 1:30 and 3:30 PM and Reenactments commemorating the Battle of Fort Ligonier at 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM both days.
