Is your school too far away to visit Fort Ligonier?  Can’t afford the transportation for your students?  We can bring our museum educators to you in two ways.  We offer a traditional outreach program and a new interactive video conference solution.

Traditional Outreach Program– In this type of program museum educators will come to your school site and present content chosen to meet your curricular needs.  We offer several themes that your school can choose from.  Each program begins with a basic overview of the history surrounding Fort Ligonier during the French and Indian War.  Depending on group size and preferences we will then break into groups and visit stations that offer the content selected by you.  Each program addresses various standards and anchors.  For a complete list, please contact Matt Gault at the Education Department at 724.238.9701 or mgault@fortligonier.org.
